I did not actually install these on a motorcycle, although I think they would work fine. I installed them through small bumper holes on a van, where the original fillers were destroyed and not available. They are brighter than the headlights! Aim carefully so as not to blind oncoming drivers. Beam angle cutoff is very precise. You need to install with the power cable pointing up to have running lights low, fog lights higher (if you use them). Fog light beam is softer-edged and not as bright.

Took a bit to wire these on my wife's Vulcan and my FZ1 so that they toggle from yellow fog to white spot with the high beam switch, but a relay did the trick. The included brackets and two sets of mounting holes on the light housings made install easy. The white spot lights easily fill out the gaps in the single LED headlight on her bike, which was a major complaint about the single light config. And they still help my FZ1 with dual headlights. The yellow fogs being closer are really nice for navigating potholes and other obstacles in the road, not to mention the sides of the road for deer and other animals. They also improve visibility to other drivers so they can see us approaching better.

Smaller than expected, but they pack a nice punch. I lit up some trees 200ft down the road. These were bought to put on an airplane, so we didn't use the metal mounts and 3D-printed a frame for them. One was a bit off because of the plane, but they do a nice job of projecting a wider field of light for night landings than just the narrow-beam $250 headlight.
I hope the fans last, but it is really only needed when using the lights on the ground.
I might buy another set for my car.
